I am currently engaged in several research-creation projects related to local marine ecologies, water and painting processes. These themes were explored on several recent artist residences, including at Friday Harbor Laboratories and the Arctic Circle. I have examined painting processes and the impact of artist residencies through several recent and upcoming articles and book chapters.
