Application deadlines
Admission deadlines are annual fixed dates and we reserve the right to make changes as necessary.
September entry
Most programs will continue to accept undergraduate applications for the September 2025 entry term until May 1, 2025. Check the website to see if your program is still open, and apply as soon as possible.
If you're a high school student and want to live in an on-campus residence, apply to UVic as soon as possible and no later than April 25, 2025. This will allow time for your UVic application to be processed so that you can create a NetLink ID (which is required for your residence application). If your residence application is received after May 1, 2025, you will not be guaranteed a room in residence. Learn about the first-year guarantee.

Late applications
Some programs continue accepting applications after the published deadlines due to factors such as high demand and increased capacity.
- If a program is still accepting applications, you'll be able to select it when you complete your application to UVic in .
- If a program is no longer accepting applications, you won't be able to select it in EducationPlannerBC (or complete an in-progress application).
Even if you miss an application deadline, you should check if the program is available in EducationPlannerBC. You may still be able to apply!
Applications can close at any time without warning, so apply as soon as possible.
